Paul Visser
VP Marketing
My name is Paul Visser. I was born in Zimbabwe and lived there for many years before moving to Cape Town, South Africa in my early twenties. America has always appealed to me, so when the opportunity came to apply for a work visa I jumped at the offer. I have now lived in sunny Florida for the past 20 years. In 1990 I started working for Walt Disney World and gained a great deal of hotel and guest service experience. Then in 1997 I decided to go on my own as a programmer consultant. So, for the next 12 years I travelled every week and was away from home during the week. I finally decided that I did not want to be away from home all the time and joined Terry and his sister Jean to start a property management company. So far it has been a great experience and has enabled me to be home every night.
Terry Trauger
VP Operations
I am a long time Central Florida resident. Shortly after moving to the Central Florida area in 1968, I began what turned out to be a 20 year career with the Walt Disney World Resort. My positions included maintenance/ maintenance management, engineering, and project management. Other projects I have worked on include the design and installation of the Islands of Adventure Theme Park for Universal Studios, and on the Phase 3, 4, and 5 expansion of the Orange County Convention Center.
In addition to being a partner in Homestead Management Central LLC, I have owned rental property here in Central Florida, which I have maintained and managed myself throughout the past 20 years. I also previously owned a landscape/lawn maintenance business. I have taken real estate classes, and am very knowledgeable about the Central Florida real estate market. I look forward to working with you and believe that my extensive experience in the Central Florida area will be a great asset to owners and renters alike.
George Newlin
Property Manager
George was born and raised in Michigan, but moved to Florida the first chance he could. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Business Management. He has worked at Walt Disney World for 13 years in the Magic Kingdom as well as the Resort Hotels. He then worked in the trade show industry for 17 years, helping design, build and install exhibits at major convention centers around the world. Real estate was his next move in 2004 working in residential sales before joining Homestead Management Central in September 2009.
Zulay Uribe
Reservations / Bookkeeping
Zulay was born and raised in Colombia. She lived there for 10 years before moving to New York, where she eventually became the office manager at MMR, a magazine and newspaper distribution company. After working there for 8 years, she moved to England, where she worked in a real estate company for 6 years assisting in office duties and setting up showing appointments. She has been in Florida for 4 years, working with Homestead Management Central and taking care of reservations and bookkeeping duties.
Jean Trauger
My name is Jean Trauger. I am an Engineering Services Manager for a worldwide electronics company that makes high-end data storage systems and software. I manage the document control and inventory control departments, as well as project management. I previously held similar positions in the architectural engineering field, working on projects such as the construction of Universal Studios Florida and Health Central Hospital. I particularly enjoyed the architectural and construction field as well as project management and became interested in property management as a result. Previously being in real estate, I decided that Homestead Management Central would be a good match for my interests.
